Intended use Y our Black & Decker Deep Fryer has been designed for cooking ingredients as listed in the Frying Guide in this manual. This product is intended for household use only .

Cooking • Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical supply . • Rotate the temperature control (5) to the required temperature setting (Icon 1). • Press the Timer button (3) five times this will set the cooking time to 5 minutes (Icon 2). This is sufficient time to pre heat the oil.
Frying guide This frying time given in this chart is only a guide and should be adjusted according to the quantity fried. Practical advice Oils and fats • Always use oil that can withstand high temperature. • Do not mix dif ferent types of oil or fat.
Lid & Basket: Remove the lid & basket from the appliance. W ash the lid & basket in warm soapy water . Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a dry soft cloth. Cleaning the bowl Unplug the Fryer & allow the oil to cool to room temperature.
