12 How to assemble your monitor hardware (For XL2420) T urn the stand counter clockwise to align the ar r ow at the end of the stand with the one on the monitor base ( ). Raise the thumbscre w lid ( ) and tighten the thumbscr ew as illustrated ( ). Then push the lid back.

Set the scr een r efresh rate to 144 Hertz (14 4 Hz). a. Right-click the desktop and se lect Screen resolution .

If the LED is illuminated in green and ther e is a message Out of Range on the screen, this means you ar e using a displa y mode that this monitor does not support , please change the setting to one of the supported mode .
