2 Precautions Installation • Do not cover or block t he ventilation ports on the rear of the monitor. • Do not inst all the monitor close to heat sources such as radiators or air ducts, or in a location exposed to direct sunlight , ex cess ive dust, mechanical vibrati on, or shock .
3 Mainte nance • Clean the cabinet and controls with a soft cl o th lightly moistened with a mild detergent s olution. Do not use any abrasi ve mat erials or solvents such as alcohol or benzene. • Do not rub, touch, or tap the surface o f the screen with sharp or abrasive items suc h as pens or screw drivers, as the screen may scrat ch.

5 Installing and R emoving the Base To attac h the base t o the monitor, do the foll ow ing: W hen you open the packing carton, remove the LCD monitor base, and place it on a desk or tabl e. Then attach the LCD monitor to the base. Note: Make sure that the monitor’s b ase pegs and the base stand are firmly locked together.

7 Setup Follow these di re cti ons to correctl y set up your monitor. 1. Remove all packi ng materials and w rapping from t he monitor 2. Plac e the monitor in its desired location. Ensure that there is space around the monitor, es pecially the rear area.
8 Note: T he monitor is co mpliant with V ESA FPMPMI standards a nd ca n be wall- or arm-mounted. Before wall-mounting or arm- mounting, please disassemble the monitor stand f irst. 1. Unsc rew screws of the hinge bracket 2. Remove t he stand f rom LCD m onitor 2 1 3.
9 Customizi ng your Monitor The On Screen Display (OS D) system provides a full range of customizable tools to optim ize your display. Important: While full custo mization is available, we strongly recomm end u sing the AUT O settings, which are pr eset to fully optimize y our m onitor’s performance.
10 OSD T ransparenc y • This functi on let's you set the trans parency of the OSD menu. The transparency i s adjust able from 0 to 3. 4 scales are availabl e.
11 Selectin g a Colo r Temper ature sett ing The following conditi ons are re comm ended for the availabl e settings : Setting Use 9300K General Use 6500K Color Management USER User c o lor sett ing Auto C olor Auto adj ust to best ADC gain value. Select the desired s etting from the menu.
12 Troubl eshooting This LCD Monitor has pre-adjus ted using factory st andard VGA t imings. Due to the output t iming diff erences among various VGA c ards in the m arket, users may i nitially experience an unstabl e or unc lear display w henever a new display mode or new VG A card i s se le cted .
