21 5.2 Panel Inspection Specification 1. Scope: 1.1 The incoming inspection standards shall be appli ed to TFT-LCD Modules (hereinafter called "Modul es") that supplied by AU Optronics Corporation (hereinafter called "seller").
22 Major defects: A major defect is a defect t hat is likely to result in failure, or to reduce materially the usability of the product for its intended purpose.

25 7. Inspection judgment: 7-1 The judgment of the shipped lot (acceptance or rejection) should follow the sampling plan of MIL-STD-105E, single sampling, norm al inspection, level II. 7-2 If the number of defects is equal to or less than the applicable acceptan ce level, the lot shall be accepted.
26 Level 1 Cosmetic / Appear ance / Alignment Service V isual Inspection & Cleaning Cleaning. Always unplug your monitor from the wall outl et before cleaning. Clean the LCD monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Avoid using any liquid, aerosol o r glass cleaners.
27 2.Connection 3.Inst all USB driver . 3.1. When insert the USB cable to PC USB port, will pop up a Hardware Wizard t o help you install the USB driver if you use this ISP board first time. Y ou can inst all it successfully as the below instruction step by step.
28 4. Inst all the ISP tool. 4.1.Copy the three files in one folder . Click “Finish” to complete the USB serial port driver install ation..
29 4.2. Double-click to run the ISP tool. 4.3. Set the parameters in “Device” win dow . T ick “WP Pin pull to high during ISP”..
30 4.4. Connect to the monitor . Click “Connect”. If the tool communicate with monitor succ essfully , the tool will detect the flash type of monitor .
31 4.6. Set the restore address. Please fill “ 0x03F000 ” and “ 4KB ” as follow . 4.7. Set parameter in “Auto” win dow . If you have se t “Restore address”, please t ick “Restore Data ”.
32 4.8.Processing of upgrade. After clicki ng “Run”, the tool st art to program. It is forbided to power of f monitor or switch of f connection during program ming. 4.9.Successful upgrade. When upg rad e successful, there will be green Pass letter appearing.
33 5. Check the FW version af ter upgrade. ( T ake below figure as an instance ) (1)Connect signal source and po wer cable to monitor and DC of f it. (2) Press “menu” key and “power on” key synch ronously as below figure. When the screen lig hts, release the two buttons and then press “menu” again to open bel ow factory menu.
34 6. T roubleshooting. 6.1. Can’t Entry ISP Mode!! The method to cure it: (1) Click “Config” to check the port type is USB. If no selection of USB as belo w please disconnect the JIG and then link it again. (2) Check the cable s and ISP JIG are connected fluently .

36 2. Connection 3.Inst all LPT driver . 3.1. Double-click to install it. And restart PC after that. 4. Inst all the ISP tool. 4.1.Copy the three files in one folder .
37 4.2. Double-click to run the ISP tool. 4.3.Click the “Config” to set the relevant paramete rs as below . ( 1 ) . C l i c k “ C o n f i g ” i t e m . (2).Select “AOC” and click “Apply” in JI G column. (3).The speed should be less than 50 kHz.
38 4.4. Set the parameters in “Device” win dow . T ick “WP Pin pull to high during ISP”. 4.5. Connect to the monitor . Click “Connect”. If the tool communicate with monitor succ essfully , the tool will detect the flash type of monitor .

61 Product Disassembly/Assembly Disassembly 1) Remove the base Place the monitor face down on a smo oth surface. Be ca reful to avoid scratch and injury during the process of uninstall. And then remove the base. 2) Remove the st and. Press the hole; pull at the stand strongly at the same time.
62 3) Remove the rear cover Remove the screw in red to remov e the rear cover: Pull apart bezel & rear cover. Note: Be careful, the BEZEL CLIP is easy to break.
63 Note: The positions of the clip s on the rear cover are as follow . There are some small gaps bet w een CLIPS. It’ s suggested to sep arate bezel and rear cover from the gap s. 4) Remove the main frame from the p anel. Remove the black rubberized fab ric and aluminum foil; pull out the wire to remove the mainframe.
