1. Read all instructions in this manual and al l warnings on the weight bench before using the weight bench. Use the weight bench only as described in this manual. 2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the weight bench are ade- quately informed of all precautions.
4 Curl Pad Barbell W eight Carriage Weight Rest Right Side Left Side Note: The terms “right side” and “left side” are determined relative to a person sitting on the bench; they do not corre - spond to right and left on the drawings in the manual.
5 ASSEMBL Y 1. Attach an Upright (4) to the Crossbar (3) with two M8 x 65mm Bolts (48), two M8 W ashers (32), and two M8 Nylon Locknuts (17). Make sure the warning decal is in the indicated position. Do not tighten the Locknuts. Repeat this step with the other Upright (4).
6 2. Orient the Stabilizer (57) so that the indents around the holes are on the bottom. Attach the B ench Leg (2) to the Stabilizer with two M8 x 50mm Carriage Bolts (53) and two M8 Nylon L ocknuts (17).
7 6. Attach the Backrest T ubes (12) to the Backrest (20) with four M6 x 38mm Screws (42) and four M 6 W ashers (49). D o not tighten the Screws. 8. Orient the Seat (21) as shown and attach it to the Bench Frame (1) with four M6 x 15mm Screws (41). 9.
8 10. Identify the Left Butterfly Arm (6) by the posi- tion of the long side of the indicated tube. S lide a Weight Stop (31) onto the Butterfly Arm. G rease an M10 x 57mm Bolt (26). Attach the Left Butterfly Handle (7) to the Left Butterfly Arm (6) with the Bolt and an M10 Nylon Locknut (51).
9 14. Attach the Curl Pad (22) to the Curl Post (1 1) with two M6 x 15mm Screws (41). 16. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before the weight bench is used. The use of all remaining parts will be explained in ADJUSTMENTS starting on the next page.

Slide the two Lock Collars (63) against the Weights, and tighten them fully . 61 Barbell 63 62 W ARNING: Always secure the Weights (61, 62) on the barbell with the Lock Collars (63).
13 EXERCISE GUIDELINES THE FOUR BASIC TYPES OF WORKOUTS Muscle Building T o increase the size and strength of your muscles, p ush them close to their maximum capacity . Y our mus- cles will adapt and grow as you progressively increase the intensity of your exercise.
14 Rest for a short period of time after each set. The ideal resting periods are: • Rest for three minutes after each set for a muscle building workout. • Rest for one minute after each set for a toning work- out. • Rest for 30 seconds after each set for a weight loss workout.
