7 ENG ENGLISH ASSEMBLING AND PREP ARING Setting up the Monitor set Attaching the Stand Base 1 Place the Monitor set with the screen side down on a flat and cushioned surface. Lay a foam mat or soft protective cloth on the surface to protect the screen from damage.

20 ENG ENGLISH USING THE MONITOR SET Keyboard and Mouse Connection LG IPS237W allows you to connect a keyboard and a mouse to the monitor through its USB ports on the back. When a computer is connected to the monitor , the keyboard and mouse of the computer are used.

28 ENG ENGLISH USING THE MONITOR SET Miracast Connection Miracast allows you to directly connect the monitor to a smartphone as well as various devices that support Miracast. y Miracast may be used in different ways depending on device manufacturer or OS.
29 ENG ENGLISH USING THE MONITOR SET 1 T urn on the monitor by pressing the (power button) of the monitor and press the [Wi-Fi] button to go to the SmartShare home screen. 2 When the monitor name and ID are all displayed on the SmartShare home screen, press the [Wi-Fi] button.

If the wireless environment is not good, a problem may occur with the screen display or Miracast may be disconnected.
32 ENG ENGLISH USING THE MONITOR SET Using DLNA If the monitor and a device, such as a computer or a smartphone, that supports DLNA are connected through the same network, the media contents (video, picture, or music, etc.) of the devices can be displayed on the monitor .
33 ENG ENGLISH USING THE MONITOR SET SOFTW ARE UPDA TE The LG IPS237W monitor supports automatic software update. If there is any updated software, the updates are automatically downloaded. When the download is complete, the software update screen appears.
