Before you start the treadmill: The red Safety K e y must be magnetically connected to the fr ont of the display panel. During operation, remo ving the Safet y K e y will cause the treadbelt to stop until it ’ s replaced. T o star t the treadmill: Pr essing ST AR T powers up the treadmill and all displays will light.

2 Assembly Instructions • On L7 treadmills it is necessary to re move the bolts whic h hold the treadmill to the pallet. • Start by removing the top bolts. • Lay the tr eadmill on the ground, and then remov e the bottom bolts by placing the treadmill on your t oolbox.
*OPTION AL Contact Heart Rate Assembly Skip to Step 11 if treadmill has standard crossbar 3 Assembly Instructions • Feed the c ontact heart rate harness through the access hole in the inside of the left uprigh t (insert str ain relief provided). Feed harness up into the control panel.

5 Manual Mode U pon exiting the weight input screen the treadmill ent ers the Man ual mode. In this mode you c ontrol all of the tr eadmill functions. An y changes in speed or elevation w ill be a direct result of you touching the contr ol panel.
6 Hear t Rate Monitoring OPTIONAL The Sport T r ainer treadmill offers a wireless hear t rate monitoring dev ice to giv e you feedback on ho w your body is affected by y our workout.
7 Hear t Rate Monitoring OPTIONAL Y our hear t is the most impor tant muscle in your bod y and, like all muscles, must be ex ercised regularly t o remain strong and efficient. Acc ording to fitness experts, ex ercise is more effectiv e when you work out in a specific heart rate range or zone.

TRACKING (pr e-set from factory , but may need adjustment during installation) The treadbelt is tracked by means of the two 9/16” hex head bolts at the back end of the treadmill.
Insert the side rail into the upper rail clamp and tighten the bolt using a 1/2” socket. (Do not over -tig hten.) U se a soft mallet to firmly set the rails inside the clamp. U se a 3/16” allen wrench to tighten the rail clamp bolts. (Return to St ep 9 in A ssembly Instructions).
