4 F eatures 3 F eatures MANUAL C ONTROL The Cardio T r ainer begins a user-defined work out via the Manual M ode. While in the Man ual M ode the elliptical is at your c ommand. There are no time limits and no pr ogram parameters to enter . Changes in effort le vel will only happen when you make them happen by pr essing one of the buttons.
6 Manual Mode 5 Getting Star ted U pon exiting the weight input the elliptical enters the M anual M ode. In this mode you c ontrol all elliptical functions. In M anual M ode you can change the effort level at an y time as well as select from one of the three multifunction display scr eens .
7 Using the Numeric K eypad 8 Built-In Programs The Cardio T r ainer is equipped with a numer ic keypad, whic h serves multiple functions t o make the elliptical easier t o control. It can be used to change effort level, enter user settings, and c onfigure pr ograms.
10 User Program Learn Mode 9 Using the Built-In Programs The Cardio T r ainer has storage capacity for five U ser Program Profiles, w hich you can cr eate and change.

16 Fitness T ests Over view The Cardio T r ainer includes 2 fitness tests and 1 fitness protocol. Based on your specific age, gender , and performance they calculate y our fitness level. The Balke and the Firefighter Fitness T ests are heart rate controlled.
