SMITH MA CHINE A SSEMBLY INSTRUCTION Tools Required A ssembling the Machine: Tw o Adj ustable Wrenches and A llen Wrenches. NOTE: It is strongly recommended tw o or more people assembling this machine to avoid possible inj ury. STEP 1 (See Diagram 1) A.
STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Attach a Fr ont Vertical Frame (#3) to the R ight Base Frame ( #1). Secure it w ith two M10 x 3” Carr iage Bolt s (#76), one 5 1/8” x 2 ¾” Bracket (#34), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#66), and two M10 Ai rcraft Nuts (#86) .

STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Attach the R ear Vertic al Beam (#6) to the top of the Cross Br ace (#2). Attach the W eight Glide Base (#8) to the Cross Brace from the Bottom. Ali gn the holes. Secur e them wi th two M 10 x 3” C arriag e Bolts (#76), Ø ¾” W ashers (#66), and M10 Air craft Nuts (#86).
STEP 4 (See Diagram 4) A.) Attach the W eight Gli de Post (#7) onto the W eight Glide Base (#8) . Secure it w ith f our M10 x 1” C arriag e Bolts (#74), Ø ¾” W ashers (#66) and M10 Air craft Nuts (#86). B.) Sl ide the Slidi ng W eight Post (#14) onto the Chr o med Post from the top.
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5) A. Place the Left Upper Frame ( #94) onto the Front Top Beam (#15). Secur e it w ith two M 10 x 3 1/8” Carr iage Bolt s (#77), one 5 1/8” x 2” Bracket (#35), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#66), and tw o M10 Aircr aft Nuts (#86).
STEP 6 (See Diagram 6) A.) Secur ely ti ghten all N uts and Bolts prev iously installed. B.) Attach the Butter fly Base (#12) to the front of Rear Vertical Beam (#6). Attach the Butterfly Pulley Bracket (#13) to the back of the Rear Vertical Beam. Al ign the hol es.

STEP 7 (See Diagram 7 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach one end of 87” Butter fly Cabl e (#42) to the cli p on Right Butter f ly (#11) . Draw the Cable to the right Sw ivel Pulley Bracket (#20).
STEP 8 (See Diagram 8 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Un-instal l the M10 x 1 1/8” All en Bolt (#104) and M 10 Aircr aft Nut (#86) on the U- shaped Connector on one end of the 229” Cable ( 41). Remove the U-shaped C onnector, Big W asher, and Ball Stopper from the Cable.

STEP 9 (See Diagram 9 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach one end of the 138” Sl iding W eight Post Cabl e (#102) to the open bracket on the Sliding W eight Post (#14) . Secure it with one M10 x 1” Allen Bolt (#68), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#66), and one M10 Ai rcraft Nut ( #86).

STEP 10 (See Diagram 10) A.) Attach the 59” Lower Cable (#40) to a Pulley (#57). Attach the Pull ey to the l ower openi ng on the Rear Verti cal Beam (#6) . Secure it w ith the Foot Plate (#16), one M10 x 3 3/8” Allen Bolt (#73), tw o Ø ¾” W ashers (#66), and one M 10 Aircr aft Nut (#86).
STEP 11 (See Diagram 11) A.) N OTE: Help of another person is str ongly recommended fo r this step. Place the Li fting Sleeve ( #27) in betw een the two Safety Stop Frames (#26).

STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Attach four Bushi ngs (#27) to a Seat Support Frame (#6) . B.) Attach a Backr est Support (#7) to the rear of the Seat Support Frame (#6) . Alig n the holes and secure them w ith one M10 x 1 ¾” Al len Bolt (#37) and ∅ ¾” W asher (#42).
STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Pl ace the Backrest Board (#14) onto the Backrest Supports (#7) . Secure it with four M8 x 2” Allen Bolts ( #40) and ∅ 5/8” W ashers (#43). B.) Pl ace the Seat Pad (#13) onto the Seat Support Fr ames (#6). Secure it wi th four M8 x 2” Allen Bol ts (#40) and ∅ 5/8” W ashers (#43).
STEP 4 (See Diagram 4) A.) Attach the Leg Dev eloper (#5) to the open bracket on the Mai n Frame (#1). Secur e it w ith an Axle ( #17), tw o M10 x ¾ ” Allen Bolts (#36), and tw o ∅ ¾” W ashers (#42). B.) Insert one Foam Tube (#10) hal fway through the hol e on the Main Frame.
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5) A.) Attach the Ar m Curl Pad ( #15) to the Arm C url Stand (#4) . Secure it w ith two M8 x 5/8” Allen Bolts (#41) and tw o ∅ 5/8” W ashers (#43). Insert the Arm C url Stand into the front openi ng on the Main Frame ( #1). Use the Lock Knob to hol d the desired Arm C url heig ht.
