3 BEFORE YOU BEGIN Thank you for selecting the new HEAL THRIDER ® C 300E low-impact elliptical exerciser . The C 300E is an incredibly smooth exerciser that moves your feet in a natural elliptical path, minimizing the impact on your k nees and ankles.
T o hire an authorized service technician to assemble the elliptical exerciser , call toll-free 1-800-445-2480. Assembly requires two persons. Place all parts of the elliptical exerciser in a cleared area and remove the p acking materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
5 1. Attach the Rear Stabilizer (4) to the Frame (1) with two M10 x 75mm Carriage Bolts (34) and two M10 N ylon Locknuts (29). 2. Hold the Lower Cable (15) and the Lower Wire Harness (65) in the indicated slot in the Fr am e (1 ), and insert the Front Stabilizer (3) into the Frame.
6 6. While another person holds the Upright (2) near the Frame (1), connect the Upper Wire Harness (55) to the Lower Wire Harness (65). Next, connect the con- sole cable to the Lower Cable (15) in the following way: • See drawing A.
7 8 9 2 33 Grease 13 14 10 8. Gently tap an Handlebar Axle Cap (17) onto one end of the Pivot Axle (38). Apply a generous amount of the included grease to the Pivot Axle.
8 HOW T O USE THE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISER HOW T O EXERCISE ON THE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISER T o mount the elliptical exerciser , firmly hold the handle - bars and carefully step onto the pedal that is in the lowest position. Next, step onto the other pedal. Push the pedals until they begin to move with a continuous motion.
9 FEA TURES OF THE CONSOLE The easy-to-use console is designed to help you get the most from your workouts. As you exercise, the console will display the following modes: T ime—This mode displays the elapsed time (or the time remaining in a pace program).
10 HOW TO USE THE MANUAL MODE N ote: If there is a sheet of clear plastic on the console, peel off the plastic. T urn on the console. T o turn on the console, press the On/Reset button or begin pedaling. Select the manual mode. Each time the console is turned on, the manual mode will be selected.

T o select a pace program, press the Program button repeatedly until the number 1, 2, 3, or 4 appears in the upper right corner of the display .
I nspect and properly tighten all parts of the elliptical e xerciser regularly . Replace any worn parts immedi- ately . The elliptical exerciser can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. T o prevent damage to the console, keep liquids away from the console and keep the console out of direct sunlight.

EXERCISE INTENSITY Whether your goal is to burn fat or to strengthen your cardiovascular system, the key to achieving the desired results is to exercise with the proper intensity .
