X erox Mobile Scanner User’s Guide 17 Insert the Battery The battery comes pre-installed in the scanner’s batt er y compartment. Open the b attery compar tment, on the underside of the scanner, and pull ou t the Mylar strip. Close the batt e ry co mpartment and proceed with charging the scanner.

The original images remain on the E ye-Fi card until deleted f rom the card. So even if the images do not transf er as expected, the y can be accessed f rom the card later.
