- 2- 1. Name of p arts Note: This film scanner suppor ts Windows XP SP2 / Vista and 7 via USB 2.0 only. Please make s ure your film negat ives/mounted sl ides and cov er trays are clea n before inserting int o the scanne r as well. Dust o r dirt from t he negatives an d cover trays w ill affect the quality of y our scanned imag es.
- 3- 2 How to install slides and film int o the tray holder a. Open the film h older as illustra ted b. Put a film/sli de in the film/sli de slot as show n.
- 4- Cleaning the dust fr om the film scanner lens : Open the Medi aImpression 2 sof tware as if you were about to convert a pi cture. Do not insert any slides or negatives into the film conv erter slot. Y ou will be able to see the dust that is on the lens from the MediaImpres sion 2 live v iew window .

- 16- Search Bar Y ou can enter the names to se arch the photos. Select All Click once to s elect all, re-click t o cancel it. Zoom Users can cl ick the narrow picture on the l eft , and enla rge the photos by click bigg er on the right s ide , or move the slide r to choose the rig ht size.

With your cur sor , trace a line ar ound the perso n or object y ou want to st and out. When you release t he mouse button, the area out side the traced li ne will become sl ightly blurred.
- 23- 2. Use the z oom control to z oom in on the blemi sh. 3. Adjust th e size of the he aling brush so the cursor ( circle) is only slightly larger t han the blemish. 4. Paint over the blemish. The area will be healed. Click "Undo" i f you make a mist ake or do n't like the result .
