1 I MPORTANT N OTES - B EFORE Y OU S TART It is important to carefully read the notes marked with a symbol on the pages contained in this manual. Not all conf igur ation codes are designed to be us ed for both a single and dual cable s canner/scale system.
2 S CALE P ROGRAM M ODE The following steps are only required for the scale configura tion bar codes located on pages 5 - 19 ( bar codes begi nning with 996. ) 1. Power down the scanner/scale. Then, temporarily remove the scale platter and place it in a safe location.
