4 5 How the 1134 W orks About Blood Pressure Y our model 1134 uses the oscillometric method to detect your blood pr essure . Before the cuff star ts inf lating, the device will estab lish a baseline cuff pressur e, w hich is equivalent to the air pr essure .

10 11 Installing the Batteries 1. T o insert the batteries A. Press do wn on the latch and lift the co ver to wards you to open the batter y compar tment. B. Inser t 4 "AA" batteries as indicated. Make sur e to match polarities (+, –) on the batteries.
