1 bizhub 500 / 420 / 360 Copy Job Shops Finding the Copier IP Address on the bizhub 500/420/360 It will be necessar y to have access to the copier IP address when either configuring the 500/420/360 onto a network or setting up a “ one touch ” . 1 .
2 Book Copy Mode Choose book/booklet smaller than 8.5" x 1 1" which will illustrate the “ erase non-image ” functionality . Copy the front & rear covers and six book pages in the 1:2 duplex mode with 2 position staple. Important: The RADF must be positioned off the platen glass, in the extreme upward position.
3 Copying a F orm Letter onto Letterhead Utilizing the Bypass Place an 8.5" x 1 1" original face up (portrait orientation) into the RADF 1 . Place letterhead face down in the bypass, utilizing the opposite orientation as originals. 2. Press start key 3.
4 Create 5.5" x 8.5" Booklet 1:2, F olded and Saddle Stitched Place eight 8.5" x 1 1" originals, 1:1 , face up in RADF 1 . Chose paper size (8.5" x 1 1" Landscape) 2. F olding , F old and Staple , OK ( Zoom/.0647 & Simplex/Duplex 1:2 will automatically be activated.
5 Image Insert When inserting an image into a finished set from a source such as a hard cover book or 3D object like a wristwatch, the image insert mode functionality works extremely well with these job requirements. Place eight 8.5" x 1 1" originals face up into the RADF .
6 Program (above job) Combine Originals into Memor y Mode Repeat the above job (step by step) of copying both sides of an ID badge onto an 8.5" x 1 1" and put job parameters into memor y mode for future use. Please see previous Memory Mode job for step by step procedures.
7 Activating Account Track (at the MFP) 1 . T ouch the Utility/Counter hard key 2. T ouch Administrator Setting 3. Enter the MFP administrator password (factor y default is 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8) 4. T ouch OK 5. T ouch User Authentication/Account Track 6.

T ouch the Access hard key Built-in Stamp and Set Numbering Stamp Size APPLICA TION: The stamp size of built-in stamps and Set Numbering can now be change. 9 Creating a User Box In the above noted exercise User Boxes are created at the MFP control panel; without utilizing P ageScope “ W eb Connection. ” An optional HDD must be installed in the MFP in order to complete this exercise.

11 Configure the “Envelope Application ” in the By-Pass APPLICA TION: In order to feed envelops from the by-pass; the paper feed must be configured. Once the by-pass is configured to accept envelops; the envelops are placed in the by-pass flap up and short end inserted into by-pass.
