5 1. Intended use With the KH 8090 blood pr essur e meter , you can quickly and easily measur e your blood pr essur e, stor e measure- ments, and display measur ement tr ends or average values. 8 3. Inserting / changing the batteries Replace the batteries when the functions become faint, at the latest after 1 year . In this way you will pr event dis- char ged batteries from leaking inside the equipment. Open up the battery compartment as shown.
9 4. Setting the clock This is necessary if you wish to save your measur e- ments and evaluate them. Pr ess the MODE button . The display shows the month, day , and time. Y ou can jump fr om one position to the next by pr essing the button again.

11 5. Attaching the appliance Use the appliance only on persons whose wrist 'fits' the pr essur e sleeve. The sleeve must be attached lightly and closed firmly with the V elcr o fastener .

17 9. Storing and disposal If you ar e not using the appliance over a long period, take out the batteries, as they may leak. Keep the appliance only in the box supplied. Stor e it in a dry place wher e it will not be exposed to temperatur e fluctuations.
