• Consider getting replacement print cartridg es when you receive a low -ink warning message. Thi s avoids po ssible printi ng delays. Yo u do not need to replace the pr int cartridges unt il print quality becomes unaccepta ble. • Make sure the printhead is clean.

There are two methods you can use to connect the HP Photosmart to your compu ter using an ad hoc wirele ss network connection. Once connected, you can install the HP Photosmart software. Turn on the wireless ra dio for the HP Photosmart and t he wireless radio on your comp uter.
1. In the Control Panel , double-click Network an d Internet , then Network and Sharing Center .. 2. In the Network and S haring Cente r (under Ta sks on the le ft), select Set up a connection or network . 3. Choose the co nnection op tion Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-compu ter) network , then click Next .
f .I n t h e Confirm network key box, type the same WEP key you typed in the previous step. NOTE: You must remember the exact uppercase (capital) and low ercase (small) letters. If yo u enter your WEP key incorrectly on the produc t, the wireless connection will fail.
6. Follow the prompt s to install the software. When you have fi nished installing the so ftware, the product i s ready for use. 7. To test your netw ork connection, go to your computer an d print a self-test rep ort to the product.
