Introduction The Book Copy f eature, which can be used to scan and print pages from a bo ok , was implemented for Edgeline MFP devices i n the f irmware vers ion 2009 1130 77.018.0 . The Boo k Copy featu re includes opti ons for copying bo ok covers, boo ks with right binding and left binding, and skipping pages when copying.
4. Choose an option for copying bo ok covers, and then touch the Next button. a. Select Copy front cover to copy onl y the front book cover. b. Select Copy front and back covers to c opy both the front and bac k bo ok covers. c. Select Don’t copy book covers if you do not want to co py the book covers.
6. Adjust other copy settings as nec essary and select the number of copies to make. 7. Touch the Start button to start the Boo k Copy job 8. If you c hose the Copy front and b ack covers or Copy fron.
9. If you c hose the Copy front and b ack covers option, place th e closed book with the back cover fac e down on the glass, positioning th e book in the upper -left corner with the to p edge toward the rear of the glass. Tou ch the Scan button. 10. Place the open bo ok face down on th e glass with the top edge to ward the rear of the glass.
12. When each page is read y to be scanned, touch the Scan button. 13. After the last page is sc anned, touc h the Finish butto n. 14. When prompted, to uch the Yes button to begin pri nting.
