Print photos To print a photo on photo paper 1. Pull out the paper tray. 2. Remove all pape r from the paper tray, and then load the ph oto paper with side to be printed on facing do wn.
NOTE: For maximum dpi resolu tion, go to the Paper/Quality tab, selec t Photo Paper from the Media drop-down list and sel ect Best for Quality Settings .
Print Quick Forms Use Quick Forms t o print quick forms, ca lendar,and games. Print Quick F orms 1. From the Control Panel home screen, select Quick Forms . TIP: If the Quick F orms option doe s not appear on the pri nter display menu, pr ess the Back button unt il the Quick Forms opti on appears.
Ink tips • Use genuine HP ink cartri dges. • Don’t open or uncap ca rtridges until you are re ady to install them . Leaving caps on the cart ridges reduces ink evapor ation. • Install the yellow, magenta, cyan, and black cartridges correctly. For more information, see Replace th e cartridges .

5 Paper basics • Recommended papers fo r printing • Load medi a Recommended papers for printing If you want the b est print quality, HP recommends using H P papers that are spe cifically design ed for the type of project yo u are printi ng. Depending on your country/region, some of t hese papers might not be a vailable.
HP Bright Whit e Inkjet Paper • HP Bright Whit e Inkjet Paper d elivers hi gh-contrast co lors and sharp text. It is opaque enoug h for two-sided color usage with no show-t hrough, which makes it i deal for newsletters, re ports, and flyers. It featu res ColorLok Technol ogy for less smeari ng, bolder blacks, and vivid colors.
c . Load paper. Insert stack of pap er into paper tray with sho rt edge forward and prin t side down. Slide stack of paper un til it stops. Adjust pape r-width gui des so they f it against bo th sides of the stack of paper. Load small -size paper a .

Remove all paper f rom the main input tray. c . Load envelope s. Insert one or more enve lopes in center of the in put tray. The side to be printed on should face down. The flap should be on the left side and faci ng up. Slide stack of envelopes do wn until it stops.

Close lid. c . Select Copy from the printer display menu to access the co py menu. If you do not see Copy on the printe r display, press the Back button until you see Copy . From the Copy menu, select Copies to increase or decrease the number of copie s.

Locate the cartridg e number in the Printer Software 1. Double-click th e HP Deskj et 3520 s eries desktop icon to open the Printer Softwa re. NOTE: You can al so access the P rinter Software by clicking Start > All Programs > HP > HP Deskjet 3520 series > HP Deskjet 3 520 series 2.

Connect wirelessly to the printer without a router HP Wireless Direct allows yo ur Wi-Fi devices such as c o mputers, smart pho nes, and tablets, t o connect to your printer directly through Wi-Fi, using the proce ss you currently use to connect your Wi-Fi device t o new wireless networks and hotspo ts.
Tips for setting up and using a networked printer Use the following tips to set up and use a n etworked printer: • When setting up t he wireless networ ked printer, make sure your w ireless router or access point is powered on. The printer searches fo r wireless routers, then li sts the detected n etwork names on the computer.
