22 Summary Screen The summary screen shows the current time, curr ent date and number of new calls to be reviewed. It is displayed until any button is pr essed. Within 10 seconds of receiving a new call, the summary screen is display ed. It is similar to the Message playing screen except ther e is no MSG icon on the display.
23 Reviewing Call Recor ds Use either the REVIE W or NEX T button to review your Caller ID r ecords. The unit announces, “Press NEXT or RE VIEW t o review Caller ID . Press ST OP to quit . ” • Press REVIEW to scroll through the call recor ds from the most recent to the oldest .
24 • If you see a number with 11 digits (i.e. 1-234-555-1234), then the call receiv ed was not from your ar ea code. 2. Press the DIAL button and the display shows PICKUP or AD J. A 10 second timer also starts in the upper right side of the display, letting you know the time remaining until the unit returns to the Summary Screen.
25 Storing a Number in Memory 1. Press the ST ORE button. ENTER TEL . NO. is displayed. 2. Use the keypad to enter the phone number . Y ou can put spaces in the number and it will still dial correctly.
26 Storing Caller ID Records Y ou can also store Caller ID recor ds in memory. Rather than re-entering the information the traditional way, you can stor e the record in a memory location or quick dial button. 1. Use the NEX T or RE VIEW buttons to scroll to the Caller ID recor d you want to store.
27 Dialing a Quick Dial Number 1. Pick up the handset or press SPEAKER . 2. Press A , B, or C. The number dials automatically. IMPORT ANT: If you make test calls t o emer gency numbers, remain on the line and explain the reason for the call. Also, mak e these calls in off-peak hours, such as early morning or late evening.
