18 | Getting started SETTING UP THE NETWORK You need to set up the network protocols on the printer to use it in the network environment. You can set up the basic network settings through the printer's control panel.

27 7 Using Your Printer with a Macintosh Y our printer supports Macintos h systems with a built-in USB interface or 10/100 Base- TX netw ork interface card. Whe n y ou print a file from a Macintosh computer , you can use the CUPS driver by installing the PPD file.
