Getting Started 1. Install 6-AA size alkaline batteries in the ba ttery compartment located undern eath the scale. Operation How to obtain the proper weight for a letter or package : 1. Before weighing an item, make sure the scale shows a zero wei ght indication. If it does not, remove all items from the platter and press the ON/ZERO key. 2. Place the item on the center of the scale’s pla tter and allow the weight indi cation to stabilize.
