- 6 - Hardware Reset MB Series The Reset Button can be u sed to reboot th e cam era or restore it to facto ry default settings. If the camera experiences a problem, rebooting the camera may correct the problem. If the problem remains, p lease restore the camera to factory default settings an d reinstall the software.

- 8 - Camera Connection W arning Hot – Please att ach the bracket before using. Basic Connection 1. Conne ct the supplied pow er cable f rom the camera t o a power outlet. 2. Conne ct the camera to a switch using an Ethernet cable. W hen powering up, the p ower LED will light up and the camera will boot up .
- 9 - Wireless Connection (Only for WMB series) Connect the supplied p ower cable from the ca mera to a power outlet . A nd press W PS button both on the camera and the wireless router (DW R T - 600N). T erminal I/O Connector Block Connection Attach the supplied conne ctor block to the terminal connector on the camera.

- 11 - 2. In the Install Shield Wizard dialog box, click <Next> to continue. 3. Read th e E nd- User License Agreement an d check the option “I accept the te rms of the license agreement”.
- 12 - 4. Click <Change> to change the appointed folder where installation and program files will be stored. Click <Next> to continue. 5. Select to create shortcu ts.

- 14 - EasyConfig T o launch E asyConfig, select EasyConfig f rom the start menu. If Complete Setup type was used in the sof tware installation, an EasyConfig icon was installed on the des ktop.

- 16 - 2. Select either “S imple M ode ” or “P ro fessional M ode ” to o btain th e camera ’s IP settings. If “S imple M ode ” is selected, EasyConfig will set up the connection automatically . I f “P rofessional Mode ” is selected, the user will need to configure the IP settings manually .
- 17 - 3. There may be many cameras in the local network. Dif ferentiate the c ameras using their UPnP name. Double click on the camera from the survey list to connect. 4. Enter the username and password o f the came ra. For f irst time use, the default username and password are “ admin/admin .
- 18 - 5. For configuring the IP address settings, select either <Settings remain the same>, <Automatically obtain an IP Address (DHCP)> or <Set IP Address configuration manually>. The DHCP setting is recommend ed . a. If <Set IP Address conf iguration manually> is selected, the f ollowing pages w ill be displayed.

- 20 - EasyLink TM is a unique Brickcom function which allows users to assign a unique EasyLink name to their netw ork camera’s IP address. Th ere is no need to configure the router to o pe n up ports or remember h ard- to -memorize IP addresses. W hen th is feature is enabled, users can log onto [uniqueEasyLink name].
