8 9 PREP ARING THE COFFEE 1. Place the 1 or 2 cup filter into the filt er holder and fill with espr esso coff ee (use the smaller filter f or 1 cup and the larger filter for 2 cups). 2. Use 1 level measur e of espresso c offee for the 1 cup filter and 2 l evel measur es for the 2 cup filter .

F or best r esults use fresh cold milk (light milk will froth easier). Always cl ean the steam wand and froth enhanc er after every use (ref er to care and cleaning).
13 12 DECAL CIFYING After r egular use, hard water can c ause limestone build up in and on many of the inner functioning components, r educing the br ewing flow, power of the machine, and affecting the quality of c offee. W e advise decalcifying the machine on a r egular basis (every 2-3 months) using a liquid decal cifying agent.
