6 Intr oduction The S4 speakerphone is the fi rst true handsfr ee voice contr olled Bluetooth c ar speakerphone. There is no need t o take your hands off the wheel or y our eyes off the r oad to use the S4. Simply say the trigger phrase BlueAnt Speak T o Me™ and the S4 will be ready for y our voice commands.
ENGLISH 7 Remove the Pr otective Cov er The plastic cov er on your S4 is intended to pr otect it during transit. Please r emove it bef ore using your S4.
8 Pair the S4 with your Phone T o use the S4 you need to pair it with your phone. 1. Slide the power switch on the side of the S4 to the ON position. 2. If this is the fi rst time you have used the S4 it will go straight to pairing mode. The v oice pr ompts will start to talk you thr ough the pairing process and the light will fl ash blue.

10 Install the S4 in your Car 1. Slide the sun visor clip onto the edge of the car sun visor . Y our S4 is supplied with a choice of visor clips so you can select the mos t appropriat e one for your vehicl e. 2. Attach the magnetic back of the S4 to the fi xed sun visor clip.
ENGLISH 11 Using the Handsfr ee T rigger Y our S4 is designed to be a true handsfree de vice. Simply say the trigger phr ase BlueAnt Speak T o Me and the S4 will be ready t o rec eive your voic e commands. When the S4 asks you to Say A Command , immediatel y say one of the voice c ommands loudl y and clearl y .
12 Handsfr ee T rigger Battery Saving Mode Using the handsfree trigger giv es you true handsfr ee operation, as the S4 is always list ening for your voic e. If you want your S4 to run f or longer between char ges, slide the power switch to the middle position to activ ate “battery saving mode”.
ENGLISH 13 Reconnecting to the S4 T o save battery , the S4 goes into “sleep mode” when y ou are not using it. If you take y our phone out of range of the S4 for mor e than 2 minutes, the handsfree trigger switches off and “sleep mode” is activat ed.
14 Use Y our V oice to Mak e Phone Calls Say BlueAnt Speak T o Me and wait for the S4 to ask you to Say A Command , then: > Say Phone Commands to activate the voic e dial feature on your phone (if your phone supports v oice dialing). > Say Redial to r edial the last number you call ed on your phone.

20 Adjusting the V olume The volume contr ols are touch sensitive. Swipe your fi nger across the t op of the S4 to adjust the volume. Y ou can also adjust the volume by pres sing and holding the - or + symbols. Y ou can adjust the volume during calls, during music playback and you can also adjust the v olume of the audio prompts.

30 The S4 Reads Out the Wrong Name If the S4 is reading out the wr ong name then it is likely that you hav e changed the contacts in your phone without updating the contacts on the S4. If you mak e any changes to your phonebook, use the Update Phonebook command to copy these changes t o the S4.
