A Local Area Network (LAN) is a shared communication system to which many computers are attached. A LAN is a computer network limited to the immediate area, usually the same b uilding or floor of a building.

The NBG2105 firewall is a packet filtering firewall and restricts access based on the source/ destination computer network address of a packet and the type of application.
