P-870M-Ix v2 Series User’s Guide 2 Overview The P-870M-Ix v2 Series (“P-870M-Ix v2”) is a VDS L2 (V ery- high-speed Digital Subscriber Line 2) modem that provides high-speed Internet access up to 100 Mbps (each way) through a telephone line and supp orts T r iple Play services.
3 P-870M-Ix v2 Series User’s Guide 1 Hardware Connections T ake the following steps to connect your P-870M-Ix v2. 1 Use the gray telephone wire to connect th e P-870M-Ix v2 DSL port to the DSL port to a telephone jack (or a splitter, if one is a lready installed.
