3 8 When maneuvering close to buildings or passing through narrow areas, be sure to allow sufficient clearance for the implement. Do not operate close to ditches or creeks. Slow down when operating over rough ground. Always be sure the implement is in the fully raised position when in transport.
7 TRACTOR PREP A R A TION Be sure tires and rims are in good condition. Inflate tires to the proper recommended air pressure. Check the tractor ’s hydraulic system. Refer to your tractor operator ’s manual or dealer for any adjustments necessary to put the hydraulic system in good working order .
5 ASSEMBL Y (continued) Attach the two lift control arms (slotted end goes to the hitch main frame) to the hydraulic lift quadrant on the tractor . Using one of the 5 / 8 ” – 1 1 x 2 1 / 4 ” hex head bolts, 2 flat washers, and locknut, attach the other end to the upright arm on the main frame (arm without ball socket).
