2. Connecting The APA32 unit 2.1. Mains Power Supply The power cable socket an d mains power On/Off switch are located on the rear panel of the APA32 unit. The power supply is auto-switchi ng an d supports 100-240V, 50-60Hz. Make sure the mains power switch i s set to Off (O) before connecting the APA32 to the mains.
2.2. Network Connection The network cable connection is located at the back of the APA32 unit. There are two possible ways to connect the APA32 unit to your host computer: 1. Direct connection to the host co mputer’ s Ethernet socket using the supplied crossed Ethernet cable.
3. Operation Once the APA32 unit is connected to power and to the netwo rk, simply press the power button on the front pan el to switch the unit on. The power LED will illuminate to indica te that the unit is operating. The APA32 is now ready to communicate with your host computer.
4. Troubleshooting Please verify the following points before trying to use t he Waves software on the APA32 unit: 1. The power cable is properl y connected.
