9 CONNECTING TO YOUR NETW ORK If you alread y have a powerline n etwork in your home or o ffice , the Ad apter will automati cally attempt to connect to your n etwork.

USING THE POWERLINE CONFIGURA TION UTILITY The Security T ab To ensur e the security of your powerlin e network, a n etwork password (56-bit encrypti on) needs to be set on every powerlin e device on your n etwork. All powerline d evices on your n etwork must share th e same n etwork password .
