Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Ubiquiti Netw orks ™ UniFi® Video Camera Dome. This Quick Start Guide is designed to guide you through the installation of the camera and show you how to access the Camera Configuration Int erface. This Quick Start Guide also includes the warranty terms.

Pow er The Power LED will light st eady amber when the camera is connected to a power source .
Installation 1. Cut a 70 mm (2.75") diameter mounting hole in the ceiling tile: a. Remove a ceiling tile. b. Remov e the adhesive Mounting T emplate from the backing and adhere it to the center of the tile. c. Cut the hole along the Mounting T emplate.
*640-00070-05* 640-00070-05 3. Insert the Mounting Sleeve into the ceiling tile and securely attach the Flange Nut. 4. F eed an Ethernet cable through the Mounting Sleeve.
5. (Optional) Insert a microSD card into the microSD Slot until it locks into the slot. Reset 24V 0.5A POE M/N: UVC-Dome Video Camera 6. C onnect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port.
7. Line up the alignment arro w on the camera bezel with the Alignment Notch on the Mounting Sleeve. 8. Insert the Camera Body into the Mounting Sleev e.
10. Set the ceiling tile back into place. 11. Remove the protective cov er from the camera lens. 12. Aim the camera in the desired direction..
Connecting Po wer over E thernet 1. C onnect the other end of the Ethernet cable to one of the following: • PoE Adapter Connect the UniFi Video Camera Dome to the Ethernet port labeled POE on the included PoE Adapter .
3. C onnect the Power Cord to the power port on the PoE Adapter . Connect the other end of the Power C ord to a power outlet. UniFi Video The UniFI Video software is pre-installed on the UniFi NVR (sold separately). If you do not have the UniF i NVR, you can download and install the latest version of the UniF i Video software at downloads.
Camera Configur ation Interface If you have not yet installed UniF i V ideo, or if y ou plan to use the camera as a stand-alone camera, you can access the Camera Configuration Interface via a web browser . 1. Ensure that y our host machine is connected to the same LAN as the camera.
5. The Main scr een will appear and you should see a live video stream from the camera. Note: If you need to change the camera network settings (DHCP/Static), go to Network Settings on the Device tab.
