5 ADJUSTING THE VOL UME T o increase the volume: P ress the • button. T o decrease the volume: Press the • button. When the volume is adjust ed , the volume level is displayed briey on a scale of 0 (minimum) t o 20 (maximum).
6 iP od ADAPT ORS FINDING AN ADAPT OR Before dock ing y our iP od you must rst check if your iP od has a docking connector . Early iP od models and iPod shue do not hav e one and cannot be docked to y our unit. The docking connector is located on the base of the iP od as shown below .
