5 DISPLA Y FEA TURES FM DISPLA Y When in Standby mode, press the SLEEP button briey t o switch to the time displa y . The time is shown in hours, minut es and seconds. When F M radio is playing the display will show the tuned frequency and STEREO or MONO indication.

7 CL OCK AND ALARM SET TINGS The clock and alarms are set in S tandby mode. Y ou can choose to set two dierent alarm times (ALARM 1 and ALARM 2) and choose from Radio, iPod , or Aux sources or a buzzer to w ake to . Y ou can then choose t o set either or both alarms t o wake you.
8 ADJUSTING THE VOL UME T o listen to F M radio: Switch on the pow er by pressing the • ST ANDBY button. If FM mode is not selected, press the • SOURCE button repeat edly until ‘ TUNER’ appears on the display . The tuned frequency is displayed with ster eo or mono indication.
9 iP od ADAPT ORS SELECTING AN ADAPT OR Before docking your iPod y ou must rst check if your iP od has a docking connector . Early iPod models do not have one and cannot be docked to your unit. The docking connec tor is located on the base of the iP od as shown below .

12 CARE AND CLEANING All care and cleaning operations should be carried out with the unit unplugged from the mains pow er . The surface of the unit can be cleaned with a bar ely damp cloth and then dried carefully . Never use abrasives , abrasive cloths or chemical solvents .
