5 GET TING ST ARTED FM RADIO AERIAL Before using y our unit for F M r eception, unwrap and fully extend the aerial wire. Y ou may need to adjust the position of the aerial wire for maximum signal str ength. AM RADIO LOOP AERIAL If y ou plan to listen to AM r adio stations , y ou will need to assemble and connect the AM loop aerial.
6 POWER CONTROL The photo frame clock displa y is always swit ched on with a clock and dolphin ‘wallpaper’ display when pow er is connected. The sound or slideshow function switches on when the iPod , Radio or a Flash media source is selected .

8 C ONNECTING USB DRIVES L OADING MEMOR Y C ARDS T o connect a USB ash drive: Insert the drive into the USB jack on the left side panel. Y ou can also load media saved to a Memor y Card from your Digital Camera, Computer or other devic e. The unit is compatible with SD , MMC and MS Memor y Cards.

11 RETRACT ABLE iPod DOCK This model features a retractable iP od/iPhone dock that is built-in to the right side of the unit. T o open the retractable dock: Press the surface of the retractable dock. • iP od ADAPT ORS Before dock ing your iPod y ou must rst check if your iPod has a docking connector .
12 Playing music stored on an iPhone or iP od touch: NOTE: iPhone in this section refers t o iPhone and iPod touch. Switch o the unit . • The clock is displayed . Dock the iPhone. • The iPhone will switch on. Slide the bar on the screen and unlock your iPhone .

15 LISTENING TO THE RADIO T o listen to the radio: Press the • RADIO button to select radio operation. The r adio tuning screen will be displayed . T o change from FM band t o AM band: After selec ting Radio mode, press the • RADIO button repeat edly to switch between FM and AM bands .
16 RADIO OPTIONS: The Radio Options menu enables you t o stor e, recall or delete presets, also t o change FM and AM tuning settings. Opening the options menu: While the radio tuning screen is displayed, press the • OPTION button to open the Options Menu.
17 USING THE ALARMS Y our clock radio has two alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2). Y ou can set either or both alarms to wake you at your preferred time and choose to wake up to the sound of a buzzer , radio, music from a USB drive/Memory card or music from an iP od.
18 Opening the System Settings menu: Press the • SYSTEM button to open the Syst em settings Menu. The Syst en Settings menu will open. Use the the • M or N buttons to navigate the menu options and the /, button to select an option.
19 TROUBLESHOO TING FLASH CARD/DRIVE OPERATION Unable to view photos Not all JPEG les are c ompatible. If JPEG les will not play , try viewing them with a computer . If you can view them with a computer , tr y re-saving them. Photo viewing is slow The photo resolution may be too high.
