3 Picture mode Video mode T urning the PenCam On • Pr ess the power/rec ord button (on top o the pen) and hold until the both the orange and blue lights turn on then release it. W hen the camera is ready to use the orange standby light will stay on and the blue ligh t will turn o.

5 Mounting the Camer a Setting the Date and T ime on a PC IMPORT ANT NOTE : When st opping a recording push the butt on only 1 time. The PenC am will write the video to memory. Depending on the length and comple xity of the video there may be sev eral seconds delay .
6 Problem : T he PenC am takes a long time to boot or save r ecordings Solution : Clear or back up some or all of the les from the P enCam. The mor e storage used up in the P enCam the longer it may take to boot or proc ess saved les. Problem : Some of my videos or image w on ’t play on m y computer .
7 Resetting the P enC am If the PenCam is not r esponding correctly you may need to r eset the PenC am. T o reset the PenC am use a toothpick or non-metal pointed object to push the reset button which is located about 1 inch belo w the Orange/Blue light.
