4 Introducti on Introduction These Setup Instructions describe the installation and setup operations that are re quired when introducing a system that uses the VSP-NS 7 Digital Signage Players. When instal ling the system, see als o the VSP-NS7 Operating Instructions.
5 Settings Requir ed Before Installation An automatic player detection fu nction is supported to set IP addresses for the players and to register the players with the VSPA-D7 software.
6 Settings Requir ed Before Installation When a proxy serv er is not to be used on th e network that is used during operation Proceed to step 8 when the “Internet Options” window returns. When a proxy server is to be used on the network that is used during operation The “Proxy Set tings” window appears.

11 Installation Installation After setting a network address for all the pla yers and registering the players with the VSPA-D7 softwa re, install each player in its actual op erating locati on and connect them as shown in the figure below.

In addition, when using a si te that is accessed without going via th e proxy server, ent er its address here.

17 Changing Settings After S tarting Operation Changing Settings After Starting Operation To change the settings after sta rting operation, for example, to add or remove pl ayers from the system, use the following procedures.

19 Reflecting the Settings of a Player Using Bac ked Up Data If you are ch anging the comp uter that is runnin g the VSPA-D7 software to a differe nt computer or replacing the hard disk, you can copy the backed up materials, schedules and setup data to continue operation.
20 Reflecting th e Settings of a Play er The “VSP-NS7 Basic Settings” window closes, and the added player appears in the “VSP-NS7 Set up” window.
