Operation GB 21 Operation The hob The hob is equipped with an indu ction cooking mode. An induction coil underneath the glass ceramic hob generat es an electromagnet ic alternating fiel d which penetrates the gl ass ceramic and induces the heat- generating current in the pot base.

26 Operation GB Automatic boost function Parboiling take s place at power level 9 with th e automatic boost f unction. After a certa in time the power level will switch d own automatically to a lower simmering setting (1 t o 8).
Operation GB 27 Power boost setting (cooking zones marked with a P) The power boost sett ing makes additi onal power available for induction cooking zones. A large quantity of wat er can be brought t o the boil very quickly. The power boost sett ing operates for 10 minutes, after which the power level is automatically reduced to cooking l evel 9.
