HI Use HI to bring liquid to a boil, or reach pressure in a pressure cooker. Always reduce setting to a lower heat when liquids begin to boil or foods begin to cook. An intermediate flame size is used to continue cooking. Food will not cook any faster when a higher flame setting is used than needed to maintain a gentle boil.
4 NO TES: 5 • A properly adjusted burner with clean ports will light within a few seconds. If using natural gas, the flame will be blue with a deeper blue inner cone. If the burner flame is yellow or is noisy, the air/gas mixture may be incorrect. Contact a service technician to adjust.
