SMCWHSG14-G 16 2. Installation The followings are instructions for setting up the Wire less Hotspot Gateway . Refe r to the illustration and follow the simple steps below to quickly install your Wireless Hotspot Gateway . 2-1 Wall-Mounting The Wireless Hotspot Gateway can be wall-mounted on a wall by applying the two mounting brackets on screws.
SMCWHSG14-G 17 2. Mount the device in the rack, using three rack-mountings screws. Note : If the screws are not properly anchored, the stra in of the cables connected to the Wireless Hotspot Gateway rear panel connectors could pull out the Wireless Hotspot Gatew ay from the wall.
SMCWHSG14-G 18 ISP Requireme nts V erify whether your ISP use fixed or d ynamic IP . If it is a fixed IP , be sure to get the IP from your ISP . For dynamic IP , which is mostly used, the PC will get the IP automatically whenever it hooks up on the modem.
SMCWHSG14-G 19 2-4 Getting Start 1. Place the Wireless Hotspot Gateway and AG-200E Printer on a fl at work surface. 2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Wireless Hotspot Gateway’s LAN port. 3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to t he AG- 200E Account Generator Printer’s RJ45 port.
