8 User Guide In Configuration Mode , Ty p e I c o n s are only used after an item to show whether it is enabled ( [*] ) or disabled ( [ ] ). If you select such an item (by pressing o r ), you will be able to change its status and make any other settings requ ired by the new status.

S ETTING UP A WIRELESS C ONNECTION If the SMCW AA-G detects an active wired Ethernet connection, it will only operate in the Wired Ethernet mode (see below).
