The access point wi ll use the highest p ossibl e sele cted transmissi on rate to transmit the data packets. N Data Rate T he “Data Rate” is the rate that this ac cess po int uses to transmit data packets for N compl iant wire less nodes.

E | 3 WEP When you sel ect 64-bit or 1 28-bi t WEP k ey, you have to enter WEP keys to encrypt data. You can generate the key by yourse lf an d en ter it. You can enter four W EP keys and s el ect one o f them as a defa ult ke y. Then th e router can receiv e any pack ets encrypted by one of the f our keys.
E | 3 WP A Pre-shared Ke y Wi-Fi Prote cted A ccess (WPA) is an advanced se curity sta ndard. You can use a pre-shared key to au t henticat e wire less stations and encrypt d ata during communicati on. It u ses TKIP or CCMP (AES) to change t he encrypti on key frequentl y.

E | 3 Wi-Fi Protecte d Setup (WPS) is the simp lest way to esta blish a connect ion between the wirel ess cli ents an d th e wirele ss rou ter. You don’t have t o se lect the encrypti on mode and fill in a l ong encry ptio n pa ssphrase every tim e when you try to setup a wirel ess connecti on.

Passphrase Key It shows the pas sphrase key that is ran domly generated b y the wi rel ess ro uter d uring the WPS process. E | 3 Denial of Service (DoS) The Broadb and router's fi rewall can bl ock c ommon hacker attacks, in clu ding Denial o f S ervice, Pi ng of Death, P ort S can and Sync F lood.
E | 3 A ccess Y ou can restrict users from accessing certai n Internet appli cati ons/services (e.g. I nternet w ebsit es, email, FTP etc.), Access Control a ll ows users t o def ine the traffic type permitt ed in your LAN . Y ou can control w hich PC cli ent can have access to these ser vices.

E | 3 NetUSB installa tion The steps t o do instal lati on for USB devi ces, l i k e MFPs: • Make sure the S itecom WLR -6000 is t urned on. • Connect the US B devi ce to S itecom WLR -6000.
E | 3 • Click the server . Then all USB devic es attached to the server wi ll be shown. • Please fo ll ow t he user manual of t he USB devi ce to i nstall its driver . F or example, you may put the driver CD of the USB device i n the CDROM player to i nstall the dri ver .
