AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Access the Product Set the Root P assword To access the Axis product, you must set the password for the default administrator user root . This is done in the Congure Root P assword dialog, which opens when the product is accessed for the rst time.
AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Access the Product The product’s heater is controlled by the ambient temperature and is turned on and off automatically . If required, the heater can be activated manually by clicking the Heater button. To show the button, go to Setup > Live View Cong .

AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Set Up the Product Set Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. T o open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.

AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Video H.264 H.264, also known as MPEG-4 P art 1 0/AVC, is a video compression standard that provides high quality video streams at low bit rates. An H.264 video stream consists of different types of frames such as I-frames and P-frames.
AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Video To select a default stream prole for the Live View page, go to Setup > Live View Cong . Camera Settings The Video > Camera Settings page provides access to advanced image settings for the Axis product.

AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) When Enable E-ip is selected, as it tilts down and continues to pan backwards, the Axis product will automatically correct the view and ip it 180 degrees. The left limit must be set to –180 degrees and the right limit to 180 degrees for e-ip to work.

For example, if the tilt control is disabled, the product can still move to preset positions that require a tilt movement. The lower sensitivity selected on the Sensitivity bar , the greater difference in luminance is needed between the object and the background for the detector to be activated.

AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Events - Live Stream Accessed – T rigger the rule when any stream is accessed and during edge storage playback. This can for example be used to send notications. - Motion Detection – T rigger the rule when motion is detected.
AXIS Q6045-E Mk II PTZ Dome Network Camera Events - Recording – T riggers the rule when the Axis product records to the storage device. The recording status trigger can be used to notify the operator , for example by ashing LED lights, if the product has started or stopped to record to the storage device.
