1 Preface The SF2012H-C is a c ompact cube camera for indoor use with two-w a y audio communication. It has the added security of a Micro SD based local backup capacity ensuring t hat images of events also save locally when the alarm is t rigger ed or the network is down.

5 Product Installation Monitor Setting 1. Right-click on the de sktop. Select “ Propert ies ” 2. Change “C olor quality” to “ Highest (32 -bit) ”.
6 Hardware Installation and I/O Pin Assignment 1. Connect pow er adapter . 2. Connect IP Camera to PC or netw ork with Ethern et cable. 3. Set up the netw ork configurations according to the network environ ment. For further ex planation, please refer to Net work Configuration for IP Camera .
7 IP Assignment There are tw o ways to find IP Ca mera: − Finding IP Ca mera by using “NX U Lite recording softw are” − Finding IP Ca mera by using “IP installer” Finding IP Camera by using “ NXU Lite recording soft w are” 1. The NXU Lite software is in the attached softwa re CD.

9 6. Key in IP Camera’s ID and P assw ord (default is admin/admin ) and click “ A u to Search ” to find camera. 7. In S earch Result window , cl ick it the IP camera model that user ha s purcha s ed ( Please ignore ONVIF connection item ); the c amera is in red text that is c onfigura ble.
10 Finding IP Camera by using “ IP inst aller” Use the softw are, “ IP Inst aller ” to assign the IP addr ess of the IP c amera. Th e software is in the attached softw are CD. IP inst aller supports t wo langua ge s IPInst allerCht.exe: T raditional Chinese ver s ion IPInst allerEng.
1 1 IP Inst aller configuration: 1. IP Insta ller will search all IP cameras connected on the LAN. The u ser can click “ Search Dev i ce ” to search again . 2. Click one of the IP cameras listed on the left side. The network config uration for this I P camera w ill show on the right side.
12 Using NON-DHC P Server/Ro uter Netwo rk In Non-DHCP server/router netw ork, the static IP address must be as s igned to the device each ti m e when adding another IP camera to the netw ork; the default I P address of the current one m ust be changed to av oid c onflict.

15 Install ActiveX Control The first time you a ttempt to view the camera video via Internet Ex plorer , it will ask you to ins tall the ActiveX component. If the insta llat ion fails , please chec k the security se tt ings for t he Internet Ex plorer browser .

17 Using the IP Camera Browser Interfa ce The admin have the full access to the IP Ca m era browser interface. The menu on the left, you can expa nd and navigate to access all t he features. Preview Launch the Int ernet Explor er browser , t ype the IP address of t he IP camera in the address field.

20 Name Function (4) Firmware Upgrade Upgrade the fir m ware to the la test version. To Upgrade the IP Camera Firmware 1. Do wnload the file from our we bs ite and save it in your computer hard disk. 2. Clic k Browse. Loca te and select the file and click Open.
21 System > General > Date & Time In the “ Date & T ime ” tab, the admin istrator can set and update the system ’ s date and time. After filling in the correc t setting s , click A ppl y to apply the new settings. Name Function (1) Current Date & Ti m e Display the curren t date and time.
22 Name Function (4) Setting Method Select the date & time settings m ethod. Sync with current PC – Ob tain the date and ti m e setting on the current login co mputer . Sync with NTP Server – Obtain the date and time setting from NTP serv er .

25 NAS Settings: Used to send out the v i deo to NAS serve r . a. Enter necessary information i n “ Location ”, “ Workgroup ”, “ A ccount Name ” and “ Pass w ord ” columns. b. If the user w ants to create a new f older on the NAS server to save the video file, select “ Y es ” under the “ Crea te the folder ”.

44 System > SD Card Please insert micro SD/SDHC card before using it. Make sure pushing micro SD/SDHC card into the slot completely . [Note] The use of the micro SD/SDHC card will affect the operation of the IP camera slightly , s uch as affecting the frame ra t e of the vide o.
45 Event > A rrang ement>M otion Motion Detection: IP camera allo ws 3 areas m otion detection. When motion is triggered, it can send the video to some s pecific m ail addresses, transmit the video to re m ote ftp server , trigger t he relay , and save video to lo c al SD/SDHC c ard.
