Page 6 KNOW YOUR ROUTER TABLE See Figure 1. Before attempting to use your router table, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety requirements. W ARNING: If any parts are missing do not use your router table until the missing parts are replaced.
Page 7 Before assembling your router table check to see that all parts listed are included. See Figure 2. Inspect it carefully to make sure no breakage or damage has occurred during shipping.
Page 8 W ARNING : Your router or router table should never be connected to power supply when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, installing or removing cutters, cleaning, or when not in use. Disconnecting your router and router table will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury.
Page 9 GUARD/DUST COVER ASSEMBL Y Securely screw guard post into threaded hole located on the fence assembly . Loosen knob on clear plastic guard/ dust cover and slide guard/dust cover down over guard post. See Figures 8a and 8b . Make sure guard/dust cover is centered over the throat of the router table and retighten knob.

Page 11 OPERA TION POSITION THE FENCE OR MITER GAUGE For any router operation, you will use either the fence or the miter gauge to help guide your work through the cutter . T o position the fence: Loosen the fence lock knobs by turning them counterclockwise.
Page 12 GENERAL MAINTENANCE Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, carbon dust, etc. Periodically check all clamps, nuts, bolts and screws for tightness and condition.
