ELECTRONIC SCALE INSTRUCTIONS eX-315w Wireless, Shipping Scale INTRODUCTION C ongratulations on the purchase of your new Royal model eX-315w Electronic, Shipping Scale with Wireless Remote Display. We recommend that you read this instruction m anua l carefully to become familiar with the operation of the product.
With the wireless rem ote display there is no cor d or cable to get in the way. The remote displa y must be placed within 15-feet (4.5-meters) of the base platform for the two units to be able to communicate with each other via radio signals.
3) Do NOT place the base platform in areas where ther e may be spills, stan ding water or other liquids on the floor, near or underneath the scale. 4) The scale should not be placed on a porous surface or one that has been treated with any substance that may interact with the rubber feet.
The unit of measure can be changed at any time: such as while the disp lay show s zero with nothing on the scale platform, after an item has been placed on th e platform and the weight is already display ed, or even after the “hold” fu nction has been activated.
