A direc t box, or DI box , provides the facility for the dir ect insertio n of an audio sign al into a mix er or recorder . The PDC21 of fers a v ariety of DI solutions for liv e sound and r ecording app lications.
NOTE : TO avoid annoying pops and clicks be sure to mute (or turn down the volume control) of your mixer ’s output while connecting the PDC21. The PDC21 prov ides the cap ability of t apping of f the signa ls from amplifiers, suc h as the ou tput or guit ar amp or p ower amplifier .
NOTE: This example may appear to be the same as the previous, however in this example, the PDC 21 is tapping the sound of the instruments and amp, as opposed to just the instrument itself.
