Installation 9 Installatio n 1. Place the printer on a flat level surface that allows easy ac cess to all si des of the printer. CAUTION Never operate the print er on its side or upside down. 2. Make sure the printe r power swi tch is in t he OFF (0) po sition.

Push the m edia widt h guide in until it is flush with the ou ter edge of the media. 9. Check the horizontal positio n of the med ia sensor , and refer t o “Position ing The Medi a Senso rs” on pag e 22.
