3 1.0 WARRANTY INFORMATION P atton Electronics warrants all Model 6010 Series and Model 3101SC components to be free from def ects, and will—at our option—repair or replace the product should it f ail within one year from the first date of the shipment.

6 3.0 INSTALLING THE SHELF The Model 6010 shelf is supplied with mounting brac kets and hardw are to allow installation in a 19 inch or 23 inch rac k. By repositioning the mounting brac kets , the shelf can be installed with the connectors f acing the front or rear .

8 4.0 GROUNDING THE SHELF T o comply with the Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS) requirements, a suitab le ground must be pro vided. The ground lug on the chassis must be used f or the ground wire.
9 5.0 CABLING OVERVIEW The Model 6010 Splitter Shelf cabling configur ations will vary depending on installation locations and the number of lines suppor ted by the DSLAM. Howe ver , the physical interf ace to the F ront Panel connectors are standard 50-pin RJ-21 type receptacle connectors.
