2.3 1092A SNMP MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS Model 1092A is SNMP manageabl e when it is connected to a rack-mounted Model 1092ARC . 7 3.1.1 Configuration DIP Switch Set “S1 ” Use the eight switches in DIP Switch Set “S1” to configure the dat a rate, asynchronous or synchronous data format, transmit clock sourc e and response to RDL request. The following table summarizes defaul t positions of DIP Switch S1.

1 1 3.2 CONFIGURING THE SOFT WARE SWITCHE S The Model 1092A features a menu-driven command system tha t allows you to configure the local 1092A. Follow the instructions belo w to configure the Model 1.
1 3 MAIN MENU Option 2: Display Hardware Configuratio n Select Option 2 to display the configuration of the hardware DIP - switches. T o use the Hardware Configuration for the Activ e Configuration, select MAIN MEN U Option 5. Then select “Us e Hardware DIP-Switches”.
