Each of the 18 physical keys on the Expansion Module has a 10-charact er display lab el .
Setup and assembly 10 Setup and assembly The Expansion Module mounts on the right side of the IP Phone. The Expansion Module snaps in to the Accessory Expansion Module (AEM) on the back of the IP Phone using the desk-mount bracket and str uctural baseplate suppli ed with the Expansion Module.
Setup and assembly 11 Installing the Expansion Module Use the following instructions to install the Expansion Module. 1. Press the tilt lever to adjust the st and angle on the IP Phone. You can adju st the stand angle to maximu m, instead of removing the stand.

Place the conn ecting arm of the Expansion Module be hind the IP Phone and align the Expansion Modu le connection plug to the AEM port on the back of the IP Phone.

Setup and assembly 14 Expansion Module star tup initialization Once the Expa nsion Modu le has been in stalled and po wered up on th e IP Phone, the Expansio n Module initializes.
Setup and assembly 15 Adjusting the tilt base The Expansion Module stand pro vides a continuous tilt adjustment so the tilt angle matches the IP Phone stand angle while accomm odating variations in the desk sur face. A clamp mechanism is used to unlock and lock the foot stand angle.
Controls and settings 16 Contr ols and settings When an Expansion Module is installe d on an IP Phone, the controls and settings of the IP Phone control both the IP Phone and the Expansio n Module. Use the Te lephone Optio ns menu on the attached IP Phone to set the contrast and feature key labels of the Expan sion Module.
